Collaborative working may take many forms, including mutual support of campaigns and events, jointly bidding for contracts or sharing of back office functions. There is also increasing interest in mergers, which may be appropriate where organisations are sufficiently compatible in their aims and ethos.
Although much of the literature focuses on collaborations between voluntary and community organisations, they may also be developed with public or private sector organisations.

Following on from the very popular Negotiation skills events this one day training course builds on the key skills, knowledge, and processes required for effective collaborative negotiations and will allow individuals to receive personalised feedback via the use of video work. It is recommended that you will have already attended basic negotiation skills training.

Partnership working in the voluntary and community sector has become commonplace. However, the experience of working in partnership can be very varied. While some partnerships grow and flourish and make huge impacts, others can struggle to find any sense of momentum.
This workshop will offer practical tools and techniques that can easily be applied to partnership working settings. If applied, they offer the opportunity to help create very successful partnerships.
